Thank you for making our first Charity Pickleball Tournament a tremendous success!

On September 27th, more than 100 sponsors, donors, players, volunteers, and spectators came together at the Newport Pickleball Club for a day of friendly competition and community spirit. Twenty-four teams took to the courts, and we were thrilled to welcome so many new faces to the John E. Fogarty Foundation community.

The day began with an energizing kickoff from our friends at Special Olympics Rhode Island, whose players showed off their incredible abilities and set the tone for everything that followed.

Together, we raised over $26,000. One hundred percent of these funds will directly support our annual grantmaking program, enabling us to reach even more Rhode Islanders with intellectual and developmental disabilities and make vital programs and services available to those in need.

This event would not have been possible without our generous sponsors, the Newport Pickleball Club for hosting us, our donors and in-kind supporters, and our volunteers who kept the day running smoothly. And to our players, thank you for bringing your competition, heart, and enthusiasm to the day!
